Dirt 1 Micro stuttering fix (Intel)

If you have problems getting the game to run at all…it says it only supports XP then you can try disabling all but one or two of your CPU cores in task manager for Dirt. This problem is where the game will load, but it will crash when you try to start a race.

The other problem is one of micro stuttering. My system is well above even the recommended requirements and there are still a lot of lag issues on certain maps that involve a lot of other moving cars. The way to fix this problem is simply to enable Vsync. You might lose a few FPS in the process, but it’s a welcome change from the stuttering mess that seems to abundantly plague ATI and AMD coded games.
